The Soil Start Farm
by Sharonne Caullychurn
Imagine a whole lot of volunteers getting their hands dirty: raking, digging, sowing, irrigating… and all that with a smile on their faces. This is what the Soil Start farm has been this season, ever since the steering committee set everything up. Now we are all watching carefully; watching everything grow. For some of us it has been our first experience of farming, for others, not.. It has all been so great. Be sure to visit us before the season closes!

Hon. Margaret Chin and company stopped in to our Farm cooperative on July 30 and shared asian cooking recipes!
At our Soil Start Farm, cooperators dedicate 12 hours a month in exchange for a weekly “share” of home grown vegetables. Contact us to find out more about becoming part of our “Table to Farm” worker cooperative.
Join us this Sunday, September 11 for a Farmacy Workshop with Trang. Stop by between 1-2 pm!
