Group Visit Opportunities
We host a limited number of field days for schools, youth groups, community organizations, or corporate groups for between 8-25 people.
Volunteering with Earth Matter provides a unique outdoor team-building and experiential learning experience for attendees of all ages.
Important Notes:
School groups must provide adult supervisors. For corporate groups, we do ask for a donation to cover our staff and supply costs.
If you’re interested in visiting as a group, please contact us and tell us a little bit about your group. Please indicate your group size, age range of participants, and any accessibility needs.
You will be contacted by Earth Matter as soon as possible. Due to the high demand of group visits, please reach out as far in advance as possible to secure your spot.

Earth Matter generally welcomes groups Monday-Friday for 3 hours of activities and a tour between 9am-5pm. Guided, informational tours are also available.
We provide your ferry tickets and all the materials you will need – just bring your boots!
Hands-On
Activities can include turning a batch of compost, caring for our farm, harvesting lavender, or helping out with our animals. All visits include a tour of our closed-loop Compost Learning Center.
Team Building
We offer team-building and experiential learning opportunities. Activities are based on age, skill level, and interest of participants.
