Help manage composting sites and drop-off locations for a non-profit organization. Run workshops and educational programs on composting and mushroom cultivation. Work in collaboration with others to: help other composting sites, build new composting bin systems (from repurposed materials when possible), and design an open-source, outdoor, vermiculture system. Organize and maintain volunteer enthusiasm to make compost, collect and transport food waste at designated times and locations. Develop entrepreneurial programs around food waste with youth and educators. Implement and oversee operation of site waste stream and recycling systems. Work with farms, community gardens, farmers&#039; markets, local residents, progressive businesses, and other organizations in this highly collaborative effort.
